Aaron Brown (“Coach AB”)

Role: Defensive Coordinator

Background & Experience:
Coach AB is a 2007 graduate of Puyallup High School and holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Hawaii. He has served as Defensive Coordinator at Juanita High School (2019–2020) and with the Benson Bruins (2021–2025) before returning to Puyallup High School in 2026 as the Linebackers Coach. He brings both high-level playing experience and a strong defensive background to the program.

Coaching Philosophy:
Coach AB’s philosophy is built on three core values: teamwork, effort, and toughness. He emphasizes playing as one unit, trusting teammates, and competing with relentless effort. His approach develops athletes who are mentally and physically resilient, disciplined, and committed to high standards on and off the field.

Puyallup High School: 1st-Team All-League (2007)
Saddleback College: 2× 1st-Team All-Mission Conference (‘08, ‘09)
University of Hawaii: 1st-Team All-WAC (2011)
Drafted in 2012 by the St. Louis Rams

Personal Info:
Family is at the center of Coach AB’s life and serves as his greatest motivation. Outside of football, he enjoys playing golf and staying active in the community by coaching youth sports and mentoring young athletes.
